Launched in 2017, Spaceship is an Australian financial services company whose vision is to engage young people in actively building a strong and secure financial future. Their ethos is to invest where the world is going, not where its been. Spaceship uniquely leverages technology with the aim of removing friction, cost and complexity from the financial products it offers. Spaceship offers managed fund products to Australian residents and is the promoter of the Spaceship superannuation product. Spaceship's superannuation product was released in January 2017 and now has over $227.5m in assets under management (AUM) (as at 30-Sep-2018). Spaceship has expanded to over 40 employees across engineering, operations, compliance, risk, marketing and investment and has over $20m of capital on its balance sheet to invest in its operation.
